What happens at an Entrepreneurs' Network Forum meeting, Where your donation goes: the Entrepreneurs

Our Forums are where entrepreneurs bring the real questions behind their businesses: a difficult decision, an opportunity to assess, or a challenge that needs another perspective. Through organised, confidential conversations, we make room for practical peer learning and support.

A Forum starts with honest questions

We do not treat entrepreneurship as a straight line. Our members include township entrepreneurs, startup entrepreneurs, people building companies ready to scale, small and medium-size businesses, and full-time employees with side hustles. Their circumstances differ, but the value of a room where people can speak plainly is shared.

Each Forum meets monthly. The discussion is confidential, giving members space to talk about opportunities and obstacles without needing to present a polished version of the story. Members exchange ideas, information and experience, then work together to consider useful next steps.

Peer learning makes experience useful

Our approach is peer to peer mentorship. That means learning does not flow in only one direction. A business owner may arrive with a problem and leave with a question to test, a contact to follow up, or a clearer way to think about the issue. The same member may later help someone else by sharing what they have learned.

We also have a mentor in each Forum. Mentorship sits alongside the member-led conversation rather than replacing it. The result is a setting built around participation, practical insight and mutual responsibility.

What a meeting can give you

We cannot promise that every challenge will have an immediate answer. We can create a consistent place to bring the challenge and hear from people who understand the work of building a business.

  • A confidential discussion about a current business opportunity or difficulty.
  • Ideas and information shared by entrepreneurs facing different stages of growth.
  • Relationships that can continue beyond the monthly Forum.
  • Encouragement from people who understand the pressure and possibility of entrepreneurship.

Forums are one part of our wider network. We also support members through access to market, networking events and training created around entrepreneurs' needs through our partners.

Where support reaches entrepreneurs

When you support our work, you help us keep a trusted platform for connection, collaboration and shared learning. Our purpose is to equip entrepreneurs with relationships, knowledge and support so they can build growing businesses that create jobs and economic opportunity.

That support is expressed through the spaces we organise: monthly Forums, an online platform where members can showcase products and services, events that bring entrepreneurs from different industries together, and training sessions designed to enhance and share knowledge.

We believe that helping more entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses matters at a time when unemployment remains a critical challenge. When businesses grow, livelihoods and opportunity can grow with them.
